We communicate the moon more than we can understand. The outer part of the Earth's atmosphere passes through the Moon's orbit. In fact, it doubles the distance to the moon.
This discovery was made in 1995 by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the NASA-managed spacecraft, Sun and Heliosphere Observatory (SOHO).
20 years ago, SOHO conducted a new approach to new research, and came to a perfect conclusion. The data show that geocoron, which extends to the hydrogen envelope around our planet 630.000 km (391.464 miles) far from it. This distance is more than 50 times the diameter of the Earth.

Igor Balyukin the leading author of the study on this topic, commented that the Russian Space Research Institute said that "The moon passes through the Earth's atmosphere."
The atmosphere of the Earth forms geocoron associated with outer space. This is the basis of hydrogen atoms. From 1996 to 1998, SWAN, On board the SOHO spacecraft, detected the geocorre's ends, using sensors to control hydrogen signatures.
Bernhard Fleck, ESA's SOHO project scientist: "Many years ago archived data can often be used for new science. "This news reflects the value of data collected over 20 years ago and SOHO's exceptional performance."
Apart from the transformation in our understanding of the atmosphere, it can be useful in search of the planet's water outside our solar system. Determining the presence of hydrogen in an external atmosphere can be water vapor near the surface.
