Ferrari F40 is one of the automotive legends of the 80s, and in recent weeks there are more news that the Scuderia model plans to upgrade. The new version of the F40 will be part of the Icona series, with the launch of Ferrari 812 Superfast based Monza SP1 and Monza SP2.
Now the new F40 assumes that Ferrari will use the future hybrid to fight McLaren Senna and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. This is a hybrid drive system based on a V8 gasoline engine and a total capacity of 1000 horsepower.
The Icona F40 is more extreme than the hybrid model, and its inspirational designers have an original design of 80.
When creating Monza SP1 and SP2 for inspiration, Scuderia models for 40 and 50 years were used: Ferrari 166 MM, 750 Monza and 860 Monza. The difference between SP1 and SP2 is the number of seats in the board and in both cases made of composite materials.
