WhatsApp has made changes some time ago to provide the best service for its users.
An instant messenger platform, known through its official blog, has shown a list of mobile devices that will soon stop working.
If earlier the application stopped running BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8.0, the following programs would be the Nokia S40 compatible computers.
As of December 31, 2018, WhatsApp will stop working on this operating system.
"Because some operating systems do not develop functionality, some functions may stop working at any time," the company explained.
Later on, Android 2.3.7 and later versions (after February 1, 2020) and iPhone with iOS 7 and later will be queued (after February 1, 2020).
"These platforms do not have the capabilities to expand the list of our applications in the future," said the people responsible for the request.
One of the possible solutions when the WhatsApp ceases to work on the smartphone is the user's upgrade to the operating system. If this is not possible, the only thing to look for in the same app (eg Telegram) or correctly change the equipment.
