The research team conducted a geological study on Nano Island in Guangdong province and discovered that many shells and Song Dynasty ceramic fragments were found on the shores of Songjing on the southeast coast of Nanao. The details of the media are pleasing and the particle size distribution is located near the beach. It is consistent that the sand is derived from nearby beaches or offshore zones. In the submerged part of the Aianian village in the suburbs of Songjing, brick has a thin particle layer. The above arguments prove that the South Island had tsunami.

The turbulent waves of Guangdong Chaoyan, written in historical literature, about 1024 years ago, with the tsunami that hit the West Shandong range were 1076 years. In recent years, the tsunami in the Indian Ocean and the tsunami in Japan and the recent two tsunami attacks have inflicted heavy losses on the affected countries and posed a threat to the coastal zone. Previously, it was not clear that the tsunami along the coast of China. The Sun Liguang research team conducted continuous investigations of the accidents in China's offshore history over the past decade; it was first discovered that an ecological catastrophe occurred in about 1024 in the Xishadong Islands (Chinese University of Science and Technology, 2007, 37); The study found that locusts, coral blocks and gravel crushes from the tsunami of the ecological catastrophe on the northeast coast of the eastern island of the Hisha Islands in the South China SeaScientific reports, 2013, 3, 1655). Moreover, in the last two millenniums, the East China Sea did not have a large tsunami by analyzing and studying the sedimentary sequence of the shale of the Fucian-Zhejiang Shelf of the East China SeaFourth InternationalNal, 2017, 452). The abovementioned studies have for the first time provided a major theoretical basis for a tsunami warning system in the South China Sea and have laid the foundations for this study.
