Director Andrea Sedlacka has started a full-length documentary about Chernobyl, the owner of four prestigious World Press Photo Awards, Antonion Cratochwil. The pursuit of Kratochvil's family shows how many times the suffering of the 20th century has affected the fate of several generations. Antonin Cratochwil spent his first childhood career at Princeton Camp in Vinohari. Her father, Yaroslav and his family, was expelled in the 1950s. Eighteen Anthony immigrated from Czechoslovakia. Before his birth he left his son Michael. He spent a difficult year in the Austrian refugee camp, for several months engaged in Swedish crime and fought in Chad, in the colors of the French Alien Legion, where he escaped. In Amsterdam, he photographed in the prestigious Gerrit Ritwelld Academy.
His achievement finally captured war conflicts in America. About 20 years later, he returned to his first son, Michael. Antonín Kratochvíl worked as a photographer for New York Times, Newsweek, Vogue and Rolling Stone.
Anthony Cratochwil, from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, appeared for the first time in 1996. Chernobyl is not photographed for the first time with his son. However, Michael was accompanying him as a helper, but his father was an alternative photographer. One of the goals of this trip is the idea of Mikhail and Antonin making a photo report.
About one of the most important Czech photographers, Leica Gallery holds auction of Antony Kratochvil's photos, which will take place on December 4 in Prague. Antonin and Michael Kratochvil will take part in the auction.
