At Sher-E-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences at least 119 H1N1 flu (Swine flu) tests were performed, and 12 patients showed positive results.
SKIMS Director, Dr. Omar Jawid, interviewed KSKI, 119 H1N1 flu cases were tested on SKIMS until November 10, 2018, of which 12 were positive and 107 were negative.
According to him, recently one person died as a result of H1N1.
However, the patient died of cancer, but suffered from the H1N1 influenza.
Director SKIMS notes that none of these patients are accepted by the Institute, as they are, in most cases.
"The Institute is ready to solve any situation," said SKIMS Director. In addition, H1N1 vaccine and other treatments are available at SKIMS.
She also reported that vaccination was made as a "precautionary measure".
