NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan's brother-in-law Sanjay Singh Masani joined the congress Saturday, saying the state needed Kamal Nath party leader and not Chouhan as CM.

Masani Chouhan's wife, Sadhna Singh's brother.

The Congress joined the Congress with the chairman of Kamal Nath Madhya Pradesh unit and another leading state leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and declared that the state needs a leader like Nath not Chouhan.

"Madhya Pradesh does not need Shivraj, but Nath, we all know how Chhindwara developed and identify with Kamal Nath, and state the state," Masani said. Kamal Nath is represented by Chhindwara in Lok Sabha.

While scolding at BJP that he ignored the "kaamdars" at the expense of the "naamdars", he said that he should not be a relative of Chouhan's family but merely a kin.

"My name is Sanjay Singh Masani, my family and" gotra ".

Kamal Nath told reporters that all segments of society were affected by Chouhan's misrule, and Masani's decision to join the congress reflects the people's intention to present the state's new developmental direction.

BJP has been operating in the state since 2003.
