Passports and IDs will cost more than 2019. The maximum price for passports will increase by 6 euros. Tax on water will increase by an average of 6 euros.

Municipalities may request a sum more than 71 euros for a passport that will be paid in 2019, according to the list of Payments published by Identityitsgegevens for the year 2019.

Next year, the maximum price for the ID card will be around € 57. Now it costs more than 51 euros. These prices apply to Dutch people over the age of 18. Documents are valid for ten years.

Municipalities can set prices themselves. So they can be lower than 71 or 57 euros.

The Council of Ministers should officially approve tariffs by 2019. But no further changes are expected.

The water supply tax was slightly increased

Annual payments on water purification and systematic management are an average of 327 euros per family. This is only 2% higher than in the current year.

Rates may vary on the water tank because the zones have different landscape characteristics. Water boards will announce final prices in coming weeks.
