Inflation in Turkey is 25%

From October to October last year, inflation made 25.2 percent. Inflation in the period from September to September last year was 24.5 percent.

The increase in prices was 2.67% since October, the press service of the Kazakh Statistics Agency reports.

Last week, the central bank raised inflation forecast to 23.5 percent by the end of the year.

According to the Turkish Statistics Agency, food prices rose by 29.26% in a year. Last week, the central bank raised its forecast for food prices to 29.5 percent by the end of the year, an increase of 13 percent from the previous forecast.

In June, the highest inflation rate was 15.39 percent. Since then inflation has increased. Since the beginning of the year, the country's currency lost more than 40 percent of the dollar. This is partly due to diplomatic fraud and trade disputes between the United States and investors concerned about the central bank's independence.
