BUCHAREST, Nov. 10. / Tass /. Vasily Shestakova, the President of the Organization, signed an agreement on cooperation with the International Council of the Armed Forces (FIAS) of the International Military Sports Council (CISM). The document was signed by Lt. Col. Uolter Borgeno, President of the Sports Commission of the Organization, TASS reports.
The signing ceremony was held in Bucharest, where the World Sambo Championship was held.
"This is a very important day for us, and in the future we can show our sports at the world championships of military personnel. To do this, we have to hold several test tournaments and show our sports," Shestakov told reporters after signing the document.
"Sambo is a sport that is needed for military personnel, its methods help not only UFC, but also neutralize the opponent and conduct preventive strikes. Sambo lessons, "Shestakov said.
CISM is one of the largest sports organizations in the world, founded in 1948. The Council holds international sporting events, including the World War II and the 25th World Cup for the military.
