A monument to the former head of the Serbian Orthodox Church will be opened Thursday, due to the anniversary of the death of Patriarch Paul.
The monument opens on a cliff in front of the Church of the Holy See and will be blessed by the initiative of Belgrade and the Serbian patriarch Irena, Mayor of the city Goran Vesic told Facebook's mayor Goran Vesicki.
The monument is the work of sculptor Zoran Mälz.
Nine years ago, November 15, Patriarch Pavel died in Belgrade in 95 years.
The top management of the Serbian Orthodox Church existed from 1990 to 2009.
