This step was the latest version of the Ryanair dispute resolution.
The French authorities have detained Ryanair, a cheap Irish airline, for several hours. They want to force the company to return the illegally paid financial contribution, the AP reported on Friday.
The incident took place on Thursday at Bordeaux-Mérigaq International Airport in southwest France. The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) has provided the car directly to the airport and has been forced to leave 149 passengers on board.
The Office notes that this step was taken as a final solution to a long-standing dispute with Ryanair. He regretted the need to evacuate passengers.
France several times airlines for 2008-2009. He asked to return his share of these regional funds.
In 2014, the European Commission decided that the public contribution Ryanair was illegally given and the company had received an unreasonable economic advantage.
Boeing is coming back
In May of this year, DGAC issued the last bell, and later a quarter-stroke aircraft, AFP reported.
Finally, less than 24 hours after the detention of Ryanair, the French authorities agreed to return 525,000 euros to the French authorities. The passengers who have to leave the car will be traveling to London in five hours after another Ryanair flight.
The airline did not respond immediately to the incident. On Friday, DGAC spokesman confirmed that the funds were paid and that Ryanair would return its Boeing 737.
