Bjørn Larsson's "Gertrud's Letter" hinge received a good comment, but Kenneth Hermele makes important reading. He does not have a Jewish identity dispute.

In the Gertrud's novel, the main character Martin Brenner chooses: to say he is a Jew, is it not?
According to Martin Brenner, a middle-aged woman, her dead mother was a Jew, and she could claim to be a Jew. Mother survived the Holocaust and tried to protect her son from the fear of being a Jew in Sweden.
